Oniris engineering degree

France has a unique dual system of higher education (www.campusfrance.org/en) and differs from the main education systems worldwide by the fact that Engineering is mainly taught at the Elite "Grandes Ecoles" which have specific admissions procedures and degree structures.

The “Diplôme d’Ingénieur” Oniris is accredited by the CTI (Commission des Titres de l’Ingénieur), a nonprofit organization in charge of performing programme of accreditation of engineering degrees in France.

The French “diplôme d’ingénieur” is a Master Degree and is recognized as such in USA from AACRO (American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers).

The engineering curriculum lasts 3 years and is taught in French.

Applying procedure for the “Diplôme d’Ingénieur Oniris” (deadline May 15th)

International students can join the engineering curriculum by applying on the Campus France Platform. They can be admitted either:

  • At the beginning of the first year, which corresponds to the 3rd year of studies, via the “B” competitive exam
  • Or at the beginning of the second year, which corresponds to the 4th year of studies, via the “DE” competitive exam

The “B” competitive exam is open:

  • To international students who have successfully completed three years of scientific studies (BSc), or are currently following their third year of scientific studies
  • To international students who can prove their French or foreign titles or diplomas which are considered as exemption by the jury.

The “DE” competitive exam is open:

  • To international students who have successfully completed four years of scientific studies (equivalent of the first year of MSc), or are currently following their fourth year of scientific studies
  •  To international students who can prove their French or foreign titles or diplomas which are considered as exemption by the jury.

 

International MSc PM3F - Project Management for Food Factories of the Future

 

The international master of science dedicated to ENGINEERS for whom innovative food factory makes environment sense

PM3F is a 2 years integrated specific curriculum of a Master of Science in Process and Bioprocess Engineering accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. This MSc involves 2 other curriculums, PM3E and MBE and is jointly developed by Oniris, IMT Atlantique and Polytech Nantes on the strength of their common Research Unit GEPEA.

Exchange students

Case 1 – French-speaking students (with a B2 level French Proficiency)

  • can apply for semester 5, 6, 7 or 8 which constitute the common core of the course. 
  • can apply for semester 9 in one of the three following courses:

Students cannot mix courses from different semesters.

French as a foreign Language course is taught without additional costs.
