HCERES

The Haut Conseil de l'Evaluation de la Recherche et de l'Enseignement Supérieur is an independent administrative authority that evaluates higher education establishments and their groupings, research organizations, scientific cooperation foundations and the Agence nationale de la recherche. Where appropriate, it evaluates research units at the request of the institution to which they belong.

In carrying out its missions, the Haut Conseil draws on international best practice. It bases its assessment on the principles of objectivity, transparency and equal treatment of the structures examined, and, as regards the choice of persons responsible for assessment, on the principles of scientific expertise at the highest international level, neutrality and balance in the representation of themes and opinions.

CTI

The Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur is an independent body charged by French law with assessing all engineering training courses, developing the quality of training, and promoting the title and profession of engineer in France and abroad.

EAEVE

The European Association of Veterinary Education Establishments (AEEEV/EAEVE) is the official accreditation authority for veterinary education establishments in Europe. Its mission is to evaluate, promote and develop the quality of veterinary medical establishments and their teaching within, among others, the member states of the European Union (EU).

The assessment system provides assurance

  • the general public: that they can trust the quality of veterinary graduates and the services offered by the establishment;
  • veterinary students: that the education offered by the establishment meets the required standards;
  • to veterinary establishments: that teaching programs and facilities meet the required reference levels.
