The position is ideally suited to a veterinarian with a particular interest in Veterinary Pharmacology, who wishes to further develop a career in teaching and research in a veterinary school. The lecturer will teach veterinary pharmacology, experimental methodology and laboratory animals science. He/she will conduct research in cardiovascular pharmacology about beta-adrenoceptor involvement in hypertension, heart rate in rats or laminitis in horses.
This position would suit a veterinarian, preferably with a PhD in Pharmacology or a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Pharmacology. He/she should have an experience in teaching or research, preferably in pathophysiology and pharmacology.

The position is ideally suited to a veterinarian with a particular interest in swine and poultry medicine, who wishes to further develop a career in teaching and research in a veterinary school, in management of farm animal diseases. The lecturer will teach swine and poultry medicine via lectures, tutorials, on-farm visits and case studies. He/she will initiate the students to identification of health and production problems and to clinical examination of swine and poultry herds. He/she will conduct research in swine health management. Research activities will focus on the design and the evaluation of control strategies for infectious diseases in swine herds in order to propose control plans relevant in terms of technical effectiveness and economic efficiency.
This position would suit a veterinarian, preferably with a PhD in animal or veterinary sciences or a diplomate of the European College of Porcine Health Management or of Poultry Veterinary Science (or of Veterinary Public Health). He/she should have an experience in teaching or research, preferably in swine or poultry health management.
